Curtin Dubai welcomed over 150 students this year for undergraduate degree programs in Engineering, Business, IT, and Arts. The Orientation week was packed with exciting student activities and gave students the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the university, their peers, and the faculty.
The freshmen were welcomed by Professor John Evans, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Curtin University Dubai, who said, “Fantastic start to the Academic Year at Curtin Dubai, great to see a new and vibrant student cohort on campus. Wishing all students and faculty a happy academic year.”
The Curtin Life Team engaged the freshmen with a great start to the semester and their university life by organizing fun on-campus and off-campus activities. Activities included a trip to the Wafi Mall Mini Golf – Tee and Putt, game hours, and the fresher’s party.
“This semester, we had O-week activities spread across two weeks and it included a series of workshops, introductory sessions, as well as a fun fresher’s party for the students. Participating in these events not only provides students with an opportunity to settle into university life but also helps them get to know their peers easily,” said Everyl Colaco, Student Experience Coordinator at Curtin Dubai.
Those interested in postgraduate programs can enrol for Curtin’s renowned MBA Global or the Master of International Business degree starting this November.
