Some of you may be a bit nervous on getting settled into uni life. However, just like our 5 other global campuses, Curtin’s campus in Dubai offers an exciting and unique multicultural student experience coupled with the benefits of being a boutique campus.

The community at Curtin Dubai is a tight – knit one, with our primary focus being our students who serve as the inspiration for everything that we do here. In addition to having a rewarding academic journey, you will also get to experience living in Dubai – a melting pot of cultures and one of the safest cities in the world. The Curtin Life team along with the Student Council execute multiple events throughout the year, providing you with the opportunity to network with new people, develop lifelong friendships, and enjoy new experiences.

The spectrum of interactive activities offered is truly extensive, spanning from exhilarating paintball showdowns to breathtaking Hatta hiking experiences, whilst not forgetting our semester – wise parties! Your journey here promises intellectual enrichment and unforgettable memories. You also get to join our exciting clubs and societies to enjoy the things you love or want to learn, ranging from sports, art, music and more; with over 25+ options to choose from, making it a great way to make friends with similar interests. Additionally, the campus frequently hosts guest speakers, competitions and festivals that celebrate our diverse community.

But it’s not just only about fun; you also get the opportunity to make an impact on society at large. Curtin Dubai frequently provides its students and staff with opportunities to participate in projects focused on community service and environmental sustainability. Volunteering at beach cleanups and Autism carnivals, spreading kindness with our Ramadan donation drive and cancer awareness fundraisers are just some of the initiatives our students play an active role in. Along their academic journey, several students at Curtin Dubai participate in industry engagement and take on leadership roles on and off – campus to hone their skill set, and I implore you to do the same by being proactive with the opportunities presented to you along the way.
