Community updates – Campus operations

Latest updates

As of 6 March 2026

Curtin Dubai continues to conduct all classes and campus operations online until Sunday, 22 March 2026.

Subject to further direction from the UAE Government, the University plans to resume face-to-face teaching on Monday, 23 March 2026. To support students during this transition, classes from 23 March to 3 April 2026 will be delivered in a blended mode. This flexibility is provided to accommodate students who may be unable to attend on campus immediately. Students are expected to return to campus when full face-to-face classes resume after this period.

Invigilated exams, tests, or assignment deadlines scheduled during the remote period will be conducted online where possible. If online delivery is not possible, assessments will be deferred and rescheduled within the trimester. Students should contact their lecturers directly for specific assessment requirements.

All university support services remain accessible through digital platforms:

  • Academic support: Students can access the Student Success Centre (SSC) for online study sessions and research guidance.
  • Wellbeing: Psychology-led support, including stress-management resources, remains available.
  • Library: One-on-one support for the UAE’s largest online library database is available remotely.
  • Careers: Online career guidance and virtual employability sessions with industry partners are ongoing.
