As the Academic Head of the School of Psychology and Health Sciences, it’s my pleasure to orient you to our School which has consistently been a hub of academic excellence, modernized interdisciplinary research, and community engagement.

The School of Psychology and Health Sciences at Curtin University Dubai engages the same Program structure and Unit curriculum as is offered in Perth, Australia and is recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in education and research. We are proud to share that Psychology at Curtin is ranked in the top 126-150 of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2022. The Program offers an incredible opportunity to earn the Australian Psychology accreditation council (APAC) recognized degree that is conferred directly from Australia. We invest significantly in shaping the curriculum that meets the advancing demands of the field of Psychology and prepares our students to make radical and meaningful contributions to Society.
We offer opportunities for students to engage in various extracurricular activities, guest sessions, workshops, and research avenues that enrich their academic journey and help build essential skills that are beneficial in their future endeavours. We support students in their professional experiences by providing them with internships, volunteer opportunities and placements at leading organizations in the UAE. We believe that learning is a collaborative process and encourage students to engage in discussions, exchange of ideas, and collaboration on Projects. This instils a sense of belongingness and students grow together to shoulder their academic and professional responsibilities.
