Dubai, UAE – Following the resounding success of its inaugural event in 2023, Curtin University Dubai has announced the 2nd International Conference on Innovation, Sustainability, and Applied Sciences (ICISAS 2025), set to take place on February 22-23, 2025, at the Dubai Police Academy.

Under the patronage of HE Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, in association with Zayed International Foundation for the Environment, and Dubai Police Academy, the conference highlights the UAE’s dedication to sustainability and global collaboration in addressing environmental challenges.

Dr Mohammed Bin Fahad, Chairman of the Zayed International Foundation for the Environment, shared, “Sustainability is not a choice but a responsibility we all share, and it is through collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange that we can tackle the environmental challenges of our time. ICISAS 2025 provides an essential platform for advancing research and sparking global dialogue on sustainability, aligning perfectly with our vision for a sustainable future.”

ICISAS 2025 is honored to welcome Professor Melinda Fitzgerald, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research (DVCR) at Curtin University, alongside other esteemed researchers from Curtin University, Australia. Their contributions as keynote speakers will significantly enhance the conference’s academic depth, providing invaluable insights to attendees from across the world.

Building on its strong relationships with leading academic publishers such as Taylor & Francis, Atlantis Press, Springer Nature, MDPI, and Inderscience, ICISAS 2025 will offer a platform for cutting-edge research to reach global audiences. This year’s conference received over 425 research paper submissions from around the world, reflecting the increasing significance of its focus on innovation and sustainability. Of these, 260 papers were accepted for presentation after the double-blind review process.

With key stakeholders and global academic leaders contributing their insights and rich experiences to the ICISAS 2025, this conference promises to be a landmark event that encourages collaboration, accelerates sustainability research, and contributes to vital discussions shaping the future of applied sciences.
