Curtin Dubai’s School of Science and Engineering welcomed esteemed industry experts this April. The students attended enriching lectures and presentations on an array of topics. Dr Tom Lee (PhD) Chief Business Development Officer of Quanser, Canada spoke on ‘Ethical Engineering in the Era of Intelligent Systems’, Prof Chetan Singh Solanki, Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Mumbai, India delivered a lecture on ‘Dire consequences of climate change and the need to ensure energy sustainability’ and Mr Joshua Kalisa, Director, One Africa Business Solutions, Johannesburg, South Africa, spoke on ‘Solar Power Generation and Energy Harvesting’.
The knowledge imparted to students not only helped them broaden their perspectives on various topics but will also help them in their ongoing and future academic projects.
