Curtin’s accounting major recognised by five major professional bodies

Curtin University’s Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting is now recognised by five major accounting professional bodies CPA Australia, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). Curtin students are also eligible for subject exemptions from ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW.

The University continues to establish itself as a leading university on the world stage and is ranked highly across a range of prestigious global university rankings; this includes Top 150 in the world for Accounting and Finance and Business and Management Studies in the 2018 QS World University Rankings by Subject.

Additionally, Curtin University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. This accreditation is awarded to business schools that meet the AACSB’s strict standards of quality, academic, and professional excellence and positions Curtin University among the world’s most prestigious business schools.
