We are excited to announce that Curtin University’s fourth international campus, Curtin Mauritius, was opened by the Prime Minister of Mauritius, The Hon Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, on Thursday 3 May 2018.

Curtin Mauritius will become an education hub for the African and Indian Ocean region, and builds on Curtin’s very successful fourteen-year partnership with the Charles Telfair Institute (CTI), which has delivered Curtin degree programs to more than 2,300 students in Mauritius.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Deborah Terry AO, attended the opening in Mauritius, and said she is delighted that the Charles Telfair Institute has become an official campus of Curtin University. Curtin Chancellor, Mr Colin Beckitt also attended, along with other senior Curtin staff members.
