Curtin University has achieved its highest position yet in the 2025 QS World University Rankings, moving up nine spots to 174th globally and 13th in Australia. The university excelled particularly in sustainability, international research networks, and academic reputation. Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne attributed this success to the dedication of Curtin’s industry partners, researchers, and staff, emphasizing the university’s commitment to social responsibility and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Over the past seven years, Curtin has climbed 130 places in the rankings.
