Application Process
Curtin University Dubai is currently inviting applications for its full-time PhD program from qualified and motivated candidates committed to impactful research. The program offers a fully funded opportunity in the following focus areas:

Eligibility criteria
To be considered for the PhD program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Qualification requirements:
For Business and Psychology Focus:
A Master’s degree (Coursework) with a high standard, or a Bachelor Honours degree (first or second class), or a Bachelor’s degree with a Graduate Diploma (or equivalent), as deemed equivalent by Curtin University.
For Engineering Focus:
A Master’s degree (Research) with evidence of at least a 25% research component (e.g., thesis or research project)
Other requirements:
- A strong academic background with a demonstrated interest in the area of research.
- Prior research experience and publications are highly desirable.
- English language proficiency meeting Curtin University’s admission requirements, such as an IELTS overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band, or an equivalent qualification.
Scholarship Details
Eligible candidates will be awarded a full scholarship that includes:
- 100% tuition fee support (up to 3 years)
- Monthly living stipend (up to 3 years)
- Reimbursement of research-related expenses (up to AUD 5,000 per year)
- Scholarships will be awarded in progressive rounds every six months.
Supervision
All candidates will be assigned a supervisory panel comprising:
- A primary supervisor based at Curtin University Dubai
- A co-supervisor from Curtin University, Australia, aligned with the candidate’s chosen research area
