Program launch announcement at Dubai AI Week 2025

Curtin University Dubai has announced the launch of two new postgraduate programs: the Master of Artificial Intelligence and the Master of Cyber Security. These programs are designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge in their respective fields, addressing the growing demand for expertise in AI and cybersecurity.

Master of Artificial Intelligence

This program focuses on enhancing students’ abilities in IT, computational science, or engineering by providing in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence. Key areas of study include machine learning, neural networks design and implementation, and the development of ethical, responsible, and explainable AI solutions. Students will engage in practical assessments using the latest deep-learning models and tools, culminating in an extensive industry-based project in their final term of study.

Master of Cyber Security

Aimed at upgrading existing skillsets in IT or computational science, this course offers comprehensive training in cyber security. Students will learn both technical and governance aspects of the field, with a curriculum that includes industry-inspired projects and assessments. The program emphasises experiential, project-based learning, enabling students to develop strong teamwork skills and acquire knowledge based on real-world examples. Graduates will be prepared for roles such as cybersecurity incident handler, penetration tester, and security analyst.

Both programs are part of Curtin University’s commitment to providing industry-relevant education that prepares students for the challenges of the modern digital landscape. Applications for these programs are now open, with the first intake scheduled for September 2025.
