The Research Office of Curtin University Dubai is responsible for designing and facilitating strategic research plans and policies, sponsored research, faculty-student research collaborations, interdisciplinary research, individual faculty research, research internships, etc.
The variety of research initiatives at Curtin University Dubai is inspired by the home campus in Australia. As a university with an established reputation for innovation, Curtin excels in a diverse range of research areas that aim to make tomorrow better for people all over the world. With access to a global network of Curtin research staff, facilities, and infrastructure, Curtin Dubai staff members work collaboratively to leverage and explore research that solves global problems and those unique to the local communities.
Modern laboratories at our campus are equipped with the most recent technology to conduct research. Each staff member brings a different discipline competence to the Curtin Dubai research capability, and we maintain active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
Our members of faculty support joint research projects and co-supervision of higher degree research students with local and international universities and industry. Several staff members actively research and publish their work in various reputable journals as part of AACSB’s accreditation of our business programs. Senior faculty members serve on the editorial boards of international journals, review technical articles for journals regularly, organise international symposia/conferences, and deliver keynote addresses at prestigious conferences.
