Sabiha Nuzhat has been appointed as Program Coordinator for IT and Computer Sciences at Curtin Dubai. With an extensive academic and professional background, Sabiha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.
Sabiha has over ten years of teaching experience, primarily focusing on undergraduate courses. She has taught a variety of subjects, including programming languages like Java, C, Python, and Bash, data structures and algorithms, database systems, advanced computer communication, mobile cloud computing, and software engineering. Her dedication to teaching was recognised with a fellowship from the Higher Education Academy, UK (FHEA) in 2020, which commended her excellence in engaging students and generating positive feedback.
Sabiha is currently completing her PhD at Curtin University. With her rich blend of industry experience and academic knowledge, Sabiha is poised to make a significant impact on the IT and Computer Systems programs at Curtin Dubai. Her appointment marks a significant step forward for the campus, strengthening its academic offerings and supporting its students in their professional aspirations.
