Be part of the biggest social coding competition for high school students in the UAE. Winners will receive attractive prizes, trophies, prestigious scholarships, medals, and certificates!

How to participate?

All you have to do is click on the registration link below, fill in your details, and ensure you read the instructions below. 

The deadline for registration: Wednesday 15 June 2022. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Participants will go through three rounds to test their knowledge, problem-solving and coding skills.

Round 1:

Participants will complete a written test in 45 minutes.

Round 2 Semi-Finals:

The top 30 from Round 1 will proceed to use their own laptops to solve a case using coding. This will be an open book round and will last 1.5 hours.

Round 3:

The top 10 from Round 2 will proceed to use their own laptops to solve a final case using coding. This will be an open book round and will last 2.5 hours.

Brush up on IT general knowledge and your coding skills.

Would like to know what coding language will be used in the competition?

As mentioned above any programming language of your choice.

What is the written test and the problem solving going to be based on - Like what type of questions are going to be asked in the written test - Is it general knowledge of computers, or about some programming language, and the problem solving using coding will be done using which programming language?

It would be a mix of all.

Is the Hackathon competition designed for individual participation or in teams?

The Hackathon is designed for individual participation.

Important Guidelines to follow

  • Attendees are required to submit the “ Guest Sign In form” here
  • Mask remains mandatory for indoor events. Hence, removal or lowering of masks within the campus is not permitted
  • 1-meter social distancing is recommended
  • Following signs and ground markings are recommended
