About the speaker

His Excellency Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi is a distinguished Emirati statesman, diplomat, and senior institutional leader whose career exemplifies high-level strategic governance and crisis management across shifting global landscapes.

Dr Al Kindi commenced his diplomatic career in 1984 at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served at the Permanent Mission of the UAE to the United Nations in New York from 1986 to 1995, representing the nation at the UN Security Council and holding key leadership roles as Rapporteur and Vice Chairman of the Fourth Committee during the UN General Assembly. Following his tenure as Chargé d'Affaires at the UAE Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, he served as Director of the Ruler's Office for the Government of Fujairah from 1997 to 2006 and sat on the Consultative Committee of the GCC Supreme Council.

Dr Al Kindi was appointed to the UAE Federal Cabinet as Minister of Environment and Water, where he led nationwide policy on environmental protection, water resource management, and ecological sustainability. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Invescore and sitting on the Board of Trustees for the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre (EMAC), Dr Al Kindi bridges the gap between public policy, international relations, and private enterprise. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Political Science and a Doctorate (PhD) in Public Administration from the University of California.

In his keynote address, Dr Al Kindi will draw upon decades of frontline diplomatic and ministerial experience to provide essential insights on maintaining institutional stability, guiding strategic foresight, and leading through complexity and constant change.
