About the speaker
His Excellency Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi is a distinguished Emirati statesman, diplomat, and senior institutional leader whose career exemplifies high-level strategic governance and crisis management across shifting global landscapes.
Dr Al Kindi commenced his diplomatic career in 1984 at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served at the Permanent Mission of the UAE to the United Nations in New York from 1986 to 1995, representing the nation at the UN Security Council and holding key leadership roles as Rapporteur and Vice Chairman of the Fourth Committee during the UN General Assembly. Following his tenure as Chargé d'Affaires at the UAE Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, he served as Director of the Ruler's Office for the Government of Fujairah from 1997 to 2006 and sat on the Consultative Committee of the GCC Supreme Council.
Dr Al Kindi was appointed to the UAE Federal Cabinet as Minister of Environment and Water, where he led nationwide policy on environmental protection, water resource management, and ecological sustainability. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Invescore and sitting on the Board of Trustees for the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre (EMAC), Dr Al Kindi bridges the gap between public policy, international relations, and private enterprise. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Political Science and a Doctorate (PhD) in Public Administration from the University of California.
In his keynote address, Dr Al Kindi will draw upon decades of frontline diplomatic and ministerial experience to provide essential insights on maintaining institutional stability, guiding strategic foresight, and leading through complexity and constant change.
Melitsa Mizrahi is a global HR executive with over 20 years of experience leading people and culture strategies across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. As Chief People Officer at Papa Johns Pizza, PJP Investments Group, she leads talent, leadership development, culture, and organisational effectiveness across its markets. She previously held senior leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, supporting transformation across 25 countries.
Steve Priestley is a Legal Director and Data Protection Lawyer with experience across the healthcare, finance, and technology sectors in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. He works across organisations to shape privacy and data protection strategy, strengthen regulatory compliance, and develop governance frameworks for data and responsible AI.
Rini Laskar is a transformation and technology leader with international experience across banking and management consulting. She has held senior roles at RAKBANK, Citibank, and UBS, leading major initiatives spanning cloud transformation, artificial intelligence, biometric authentication, and technology governance. A recognised advocate for greater diversity in technology and finance, Rini was named among the UAE's Top Women in Power & Analytics in 2025.
Jan Williams is an experienced university counsellor and educational leader who supports students with university admissions, career planning, and post-16 progression. Through her roles at Repton Al Barsha and UniFutures DXB, she brings an international perspective shaped by her work across the UK, UAE, Indonesia, Bahrain, and Kazakhstan.
Daniel Adkins is President and Group Senior Executive Officer at Transnational Academic Group, where he oversees international university branch campuses established through strategic partnerships with Curtin University in Dubai and Lancaster University in Ghana. With over 17 years in transnational higher education and an earlier career in technology and management consulting, Daniel brings extensive experience in organisational leadership, business strategy, and transformation.
