These equipped me with essential skills and knowledge that I carry to this day! However, one of my goals was to graduate and leave that chapter of my life with a high level of personal/ career growth. This meant that I needed to spread my wings and explore another opportunity, which I secured at Hunter Foods as a Business Projects intern. I believe completing three internships in various industries gave me an edge in the job market, expanded my professional network, developed my personal brand and helped me explore my career options!

I’m Munira Khuzaima, a psychology student from Sri Lanka, and I chose Curtin University Dubai for its vibrant international community. As the Psychology School Officer in the Student Council, I’ve enjoyed representing my peers and organising events. Hosting workshops and working with autistic children at Curtin were unforgettable experiences, expanding my network and skills. rnI received the SP Wahi Award for Excellence, a 100% Scholarship, motivating me to strive harder. Interning in admissions and marketing further deepened my appreciation for Curtin’s inclusive community. rnCurtin Dubai has been my incredible home, challenging and supporting me, and I’m excited for the rest of my journey!

Everyday at Curtin University Dubai is a new experience for me. I have been able to develop and enhance my skillset in preparation for a career in my field. Participating in several internship opportunities and other extracurricular activities facilitated by the university has definitely helped me in my personal development.

I chose Curtin Dubai because it offers a well-recognised degree and is ranked quite high among other universities and globally which will play a huge part in securing a good opportunity in the future. The staff at Curtin is quite friendly, understanding and welcoming, and this ended up being a deciding factor for me as it gave me the impression that I would feel very comfortable during my course.
