Curtin Dubai Scholarships & Financial Aid Bursaries

Scholarships, and financial aid bursaries are part of Curtin’s commitment to rewarding academic excellence, supporting research and enabling students from all backgrounds to realise their potential.

These opportunities are available for both commencing and current Curtin Dubai undergraduate and postgraduate students students. Scholarships are more than just financial support, they can enhance your portfolio of achievements. To find out if you qualify for it, you would be required to fill in an application.

2019 Curtin Dubai Scholarships

The 2019 Curtin Dubai Scholarships continue Curtin’s proud tradition of supporting students around the world to realise their potential.

The scholarships are open to:

  • Future students seeking to study a Curtin bachelor or master by coursework degree and current Curtin students intending to move to a new course of study after completing their current course (bachelor to master, for example)
  • Curtin alumni
  • Corporates, government and high schools

All applications are reviewed by the Dean’s office and the scholarship committee. Applicants from all categories are able to choose from a wide range of courses across the University’s study areas of business, science and engineering, and humanities.

Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award Scholarship ProgramThis exclusive undergraduate students scholarship is awarded to the following Cambridge High Achievers:

1) Cambridge Top in the World
100% Academic Scholarships for the 1st academic year for winners of ‘Top in the World’ award for an Academic Subject at AS Levels or A Levels.

2) Outstanding Cambridge Learner
75% Academic Scholarships for the first academic year for Winners of ‘Top in Country’ award for a 1 Cambridge International A Levels or AS levels or winners of ‘Best across’ award in 4 or 3 Cambridge A Levels, 4 Cambridge International AS Levels or in a minimum of 7 or more Cambridge IGCSs.

3) High Achievement Cambridge Learner
50% Academic Scholarships for the 1st academic year for candidates who have achieved grade B across 3 Cambridge International A Levels or a combination of A*, A and B in 2 Cambridge International A Levels.
Curtin University Dubai Scholarships for GEMS Education GroupThe partnership between Curtin Dubai and GEMS Education will provide further global learning opportunities for GEMS students and staff through exchange and collaboration. These include corporate discounts, prestigious merit-based scholarships and financial aid, bespoke workshops, interactive camps, summer school programs, professional development programs, student life events and more. Curtin University Dubai will offer 33, 100% merit based scholarships to GEMS students on an annual basis, subject to sufficient applicants meeting the scholarship criteria. All GEMS Education Group students, staff and their immediate family are entitled to 20% bursary on all foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate program offered at Curtin Dubai.
Curtin Dubai High Achievers Academic Excellence ScholarshipThe Outstanding Academic Excellence Scholarship has been developed to reward students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their high school exams, and want to pursue study at Curtin University Dubai. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 100% of the complete tuition and is open to both domestic and international students.
Curtin Dubai Excellence Award for Women in EngineeringThe Women in Engineering Scholarship has been developed to reward female students who receive outstanding high school grades in Science, IT, Engineering, or Mathematics. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 100% of the complete tuition and is open to both domestic and international female students applying for engineering programs at Curtin Dubai.
Alumni and Family ScholarshipThis scholarship category awards eligible students 30% of the complete tuition. This is applicable for students who can demonstrate close personal ties to Curtin University. For example, students must present evidence that they, their sibling, half-sibling, parent or child are members of Curtin alumni or are currently enrolled students.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor’s Bursary for UAE, Australian, New-Zealand National StudentsThis exclusive bursary is available to all Emirati, Australian and New Zealand national applicants. This scholarship category awards eligible students 30% of the complete tuition for duration of the program.
Curtin Dubai Excellence in Leadership Scholarship for Postgraduate StudiesThis scholarship has been developed to reward postgraduate students who either distinguished themselves in their undergraduate studies or have made a substantial contribution to society through their leadership. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 100% of the complete tuition and is open to both domestic and international students.
Curtin Dubai Excellence Award for Women in Postgraduate StudiesThis exclusive scholarship rewards top female postgraduate students who either distinguished themselves in their undergraduate studies or have made a substantial contribution to society.
Curtin Dubai International Student ScholarshipsThis scholarship has been developed to encourage and support international students. The scholarship is awarded based on prior academic performance and extracurricular achievements. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 100% of the complete undergraduate, foundation and postgraduate tuition.
Curtin Dubai Financial AidFinancial Aid Scholarship has been developed to encourage and support students who have limited financial resources to fund their studies at Curtin Dubai. To be eligible for financial aid, students must have a satisfactory academic performance, and be able to demonstrate financial need and provide documentation to support their situation. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 100% of the complete undergraduate, foundation and postgraduate tuition.
Industry Partners Scholarships and BursariesThis exclusive bespoke bursary has been developed to encourage and support employees of Curtin Dubai’s industry partners and their immediate families. This scholarship category awards eligible students up to 25% of the complete undergraduate, foundation and postgraduate tuition.
